Dutch Police received BPW Equal Pay Award

On Thursday 28 th March, the Dutch National Police received the BPW Equal Pay Award

The Dutch National Police is rewarded for the way women are represented in senior (top) functions and their equal pay. The award ceremony took place in the context of the global campaign Equal Pay Day on 28th March. This annual Encouragement Award is an initiative of The International Federation Business and Professional Women (BPW) The Netherlands.

DSC01185BPW aims the position of working women globally, and promotes equal pay for women. The Dutch National Police is rewarded because of the positive improvements in its representation of women in leadership (top) functions and the equivalent reward. The police is a good example for other organizations,” said Ency Nijenhuis, secretary of the Dutch Federation board On behalf of the management of the Dutch police , Commissioner Jan Struijs (HRM) received in Amsterdam the BPW Equal Pay Award 2013, handed over by Esra Visser, vice chair of BPW and Dieny Scheffer, President of the Dutch Network.
